Speaking

With over 250 presentations to audiences ranging from 20-800 in size, Carrie has shared her enthusiasm for experiential education and for wilderness travel with over 10,000 people. Recent talks include:

  • Bacon Grease, Bears and Bullets: Lessons Learned from Wild Encounters

  • Curriculum as the Means to Work Integrated Learning (ACE_WIL Plenary Panel Presentation in Victoria, 2019)

Teaching

Learn from a seasoned experiential educator! Having been identified as the 2007 Association of Experiential Education's Outstanding Experiential of the Year, Carrie offers a range of 30 hour courses for educators in urban or wilderness settings. Most recently, she has taught:
